Bell sense button with Yamaha circuit on LV ride

This is not really troubleshooting, but I noticed that my yamaha wired LV 20" ride (without the bell switch) works equally well with the Roland as Yamaha setting. When I click the yamaha button, the bell sense button disappears. Took me a while to find out the bell sense was only for Roland wired cymbals. Well, it works on my Yamaha circuit...
So, can I have a bell sense option in the Yamaha mode?
Btw, it triggers almost perfect... bell, bow and edge.

Bell sense does not work on metal cymbals. What makes you think it will work on yours?

My eyes and ears do.
Bell sense does work on my 20" metal ride. Not 100% perfect, but close enough.
