Hi there,

I just ordered two edrumin 8's yesterday to use with my currently Roland TD17 setup.

I have the VH11 hihat, two crashes, a Lemon 18" ride, a Jobeky snare, 3 toms (Roland PDX100) and a PDX12 acting as a floor tom plus the KD10 kick pedal.

So I currently have the PDX12 and a crash connected via the Crash 1 and Aux 1 slots on my TD17 module so I was trying to figure out a)how many cables I need extra and what kind.

Can I buy all stereo TRS cables? I'm thinking around 14 will be enough to give me room for potentially future expansion) extra cymbal or tom for example.

Thank you in advance for any help! I'm mainly using SD3 just now for sounds so looking forward to getting more out of it once these edrumin 8's arrive and probably selling my TD17 module once I'm settled!

Yup, TRS cables are the way to go.
