Thanks for the quick turnaround, Rob. Still no change from what I can tell though. I'll keep fiddling with it, but everything is responding to the bank change other than the hihat CC events. I've updated firmware on both ED10R2s (and verified they are both reporting 2.3.0 build 2), power-cycled them, tried different pedal inputs, and reset the pedal and hihat trigger input configs. None of that changed the hihat CC channel behavior.

I think I can workaround this with more advanced event filtering in Logic, but just wanted you to know that 2.3.0.2 still shows this issue, for me at least.

Let me know if there is any more information I can provide that might help.

And as always - thanks for all of the effort you put into this - it is a fantastic product and greatly appreciated!

I just double checked here on Windows and Mac and it's working properly. Must be something on your end. You can use the eDRUMin MIDI monitor to easily see what channel the hihat CC's are using.

Hi Rob - thanks for the response, I really appreciate you looking at this with me.

I can confirm with the eDrumIn midi monitor that the pedal banks are sending the CC events as I have configured when I select the pedal banks manually. But what I do not see happening is the pedal bank changing when I do an "all input" change with my sustain pedal setup for bank change (and the midi monitor confirms that the CC channel numbers align with the highlighted bank # in the pedal input config). The pedal bank indicator is not changing and the CC event channels are not changing. I can watch the bank indicators for the pedal and the hihat trigger while switching banks, and I can see the trigger bank change but the pedal bank is not.

I have 2 ED10R2s, and the hihat trigger is on ED module #2, while the pedal input and sustain pedal (which I'm using to switch banks) is on module #1. All 20 trigger input banks change just fine, but the hihat pedal does not. Could being spread across two different modules cause an issue here? I have tried moving the hihat pedal to the same ED10 as the trigger - maybe I should try to get all 3 on the same module. I've also reset the inputs for the sustain pedal, the hihat pedal and the hihat trigger top make sure there was no config quirk causing the issue. I'm not sure what else I can do to debug this problem.

I'm using macOS 13.4 on an M1 mini, BTW. And FWIW I have worked around the problem with scripted midi filtering in Logic.

Hmmm. I suspect the fact that your hihat and sustain pedal doing the switching are on different devices is reason it's not working for you. I'll take a look for the next build.

Just tested and everything is working as expected when sustain pedal is on one eDRUMin and the hihat cymbal / pedal is on a second eDRUMin plugged into the host port.

When you send to 'all inputs', it really means 'all trigger inputs' and the hihat will only change if one trigger inputs (your hihat cymbal) is set to 'Hihat Cymbal 1'. Can you confirm that your hihat cymbal is setup properly.

Thanks so much Rob. I definitely did *not* set the hihat trigger to "Hihat Cymbal 1" - I had just assigned it to the hihat from my SD3 drum map. Just read that section of the user guide and I somehow missed that note or maybe missed its importance.

I have made this change and now all is as it should be. Thanks so much for walking me through all of this and for making the fixes in the latest firmware. You rock! Many thanks.
