Version 2.2.0 Build 15 - positional sensing issues

Setting up Positional Sensing on a dual zone snare (R-Drums trigger): when I change the 'T' to 'R', the setting reverts to 'T' as soon as I strike another pad. Is this a glitch with the latest software or am I doing something wrong?

I'm using SD3 with Edrumin's PS Output set to CC and all pads set to 'kit piece', using Edrumin's built-in SD map. I've selected 3 x snare head positions in SD3 (centre, off centre, edge).
Does SD3's positional sensing options override the black bar in Edrumin or do they work together?

The 'T' and 'R' refer to Tip and Ring. The device typically just processes the Tip for positional information, but can also use information from the Ring. So it's not T or R, it's T and R. When you switch inputs, the UI just goes back to showing the 'T' parameter again.
