Hello
I am about to place an order for a snare drum from a UK builder. They are made to order, completely bespoke.
The snare is offered as dual zone, with a single TRS connector. This is what I am familiar with.
It can be ordered with this setup as well, as an option:
Option 1
1x centre + 2x sides
Requires 2x stereo TRS connections
Option 2
1x centre + 3x sides
Requires 2x stereo TRS connections
Can somebody please tell me how eDRUMin would handle 2 x TRS on a snare?
Is it to improve rim shot & cross stick, without having to use a dedicated cross stick sensor like the Roland BT-1?
I don't have an eDRUMin yet - I am planning to purchase one once the eDRUMin 10 becomes available.
It is important that the snare I order works with eDRUMin.

Re: Snare drums with 2 x TRS connectors
Download the edrumin pdf. Look at the pg49 for wiring options .
Not sure why you have 2 trs jacks? Typically 1 trs jack for head and rim .
What vendor are you buying these snares?
