Loaded a Drum Map, and the pedal editor shows the correct pedal and splash MIDI notes, but as you can see in the MIDI monitor the MIDI notes transmitted are different.
Confirmed bug. When using 'Impact' mode, after changing drum maps, the pedal note isn't being properly refreshed. Fixed for next build.

Hi Rob, is there any way to know which snapshot you have loaded?
Not reliably.

Variation to this question. Would it possible to indicate if the current settings are different from the snapshot last loaded? Something like an indication, don’t forget to save a snapshot because you have differences. This would be different from the auto save feature.

that is kind of already there if you don't have auto-save on, the save icon lights up if there is anything that needs saving. But maybe having a message pop up when you try to load another snapshot asking if you want to save changes before closing the current one, would be safer. I just wish there was a way to see which snap shot is loaded. -mbira

Feature Request (after the ramble..)

My first time having to use the drum map today, as I wanted to change the sidestick to rim click (as per the tips and tricks thread).

Historically I would just click the midi note, but after attempting to click it (for way too long), I remembered that drum maps were now a thing.

Then, I tried to edit the drum map. Again I spent ages clicking the midi note, before I realised it was a factory present couldn't be altered.

So, after making a copy into user presets I could finally click the midi note as expected! But I couldn't hear the note at all to confirm it was correct, even after hitting save. I had to exit the preset area to check it.

So, what was a single click process to modify midi notes with immediate effect, has now turned into:

1. Open preset editor
2. Copy factory preset into user preset
3. Modify midi note
4. Save user preset
5. Exit preset editor
6. Hear change

At no point did the software inform me where my failures were (e.g "factory preset not editable")

Therefore, I suggest:

Preferred:
Allow modify midi note as expected (as in <v2) in the trigger screens when using factory preset and immediately save as modified user preset, prompting user this has happened.

Compromise:
Allow for drum sounds to operate in preset editor + inform user when attempting to modify factory preset, that they need to create a user one

That's how I originally started implementing drum maps, but it could leave to other--mainly problems with the drum map on the device becoming out of sync with the map stored on the computer.

I think you should leave that particular pad on 'custom notes' and then use the 'note banks' feature. You could then use a footswitch to switch between the rimclick and sidestick without needing to click anything.

That's what I do on my snare. Bank 1 is standard rim click, bank 2 is sidestick, controlled by a footswitch. With a little practice, you can switch between them "live", in the middle of a song.
Miscellaneous Roland triggers. ED-10 + ED-4. MacBook Pro (2015), 16G RAM, Big Sur. Superior Drummer 3. Logic Pro.

Good timing - I just installed my first Linux server on AWS recently and decided next Linux project will be Mint on a desktop
