Splitter

Hi,
I use some Alesis drum pads and I tried to split them into one EdrumIn input with a stereo splitter.
I use mono cables.
The Input Mode is set to two separate pads and I can only hear one sound (the same sound) coming out of the two pads.
The Pad Type is to Mesh pads and I can see two icons on the Input Selector.
I would like to assign diffrent sounds to the two pads using one input on the EdrumIn.

What am I doing wrong ?

Sounds like you don't have proper stereo to dual mono splitter. From your description, it sounds like you have a stereo to dual stereo splitter.
