I would like to offer some constructive feedback about the UI: it's VERY hard to figure out what's going on, and what the various templates are supposed to do. I get the desire to go for a compact UI but maybe it's TOO compact. I'm happy to mock up a couple of ideas to solve some of the key issues, I don't think a huge overhaul is necessary but there's just something that doesn't work in the current layout. Let me know if you're open to that.

I tested here. There's definitely a bug.

Fixed for the next build. The bug only affect hihat pedals setup to use 'Customs Notes'. A workaround is to setup your note assignments in the drum map and change your hihat pedal to 'Hihat Kit Piece'.

I think there's a little more to that cause the issue was happening with selecting hi hat too. I changed the mapping and made one specifically for Melodics but it didn't seem to help all that much, I'm still getting the hat stuck on a specific note and the mapping doesn't seem to take effect. I can make another video to show you that.
yes, that I know but the problem I'm referring is that things "stack on top of other things" in ways that I find disrupts my ability to keep track of what I'm editing. It doesn't have to do with the size of the window but with the layout. Before I sketch anything I'll take another video to show you where I find difficulties.

Ok I figured out something I was doing wrong, but there's still a problem. Where it lets you select the drum map from a drop down, it's only showing the factory presets but not my user created map. Not sure it's a bug or by design, but the drop down is really not obvious or easy to spot and not being able to use my own template is a major issue.Luckymethod wrote: ↑Fri May 20, 2022 2:04 am
