Rob I think the problem is different than I posted before. It seems that what is happening with the edge scaler not staying at what I set it to, is that the dual mono sides of each input can not be set separately. One of the mono inputs controls the edge scaler for both.
This is happening for all 10 inputs. It was just that I hadn't figured this out till today. I think it is the black side of my splitters that can make changes that apply to the other (red side) mono input as well. I tested this with all the inputs. I don't know if it is just graphical or if it actually resets the value of the scaler for the other mono input. I could try to test that later.
I think that the 2 pads that the edge function isn't working well on is related to my pads and not edrumin so disregard my former post.

eDRUMin version 2 BETA
Re: eDRUMin version 2 BETA
(using Safari)
trying to click on and download b36 the past few hours (or more), and getting:
Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache Server at www.audiofront.net Port 443
I tried looking for Audiofront on a different browser (Firefox) and got a lot of other 'don't look here' flack.
but I am able to get into this forum (?).
just an fyi - hopefully it'll clear up soon.

Re: eDRUMin version 2 BETA
Fixed.
I can't reproduce this issue.
Re: eDRUMin version 2 BETA
Changes in build 37
- Fixed sysEx message support from USB -> MIDI DIN out.
- Implemented sysEx support for devices connected to ED10 USB host port.
- Fixed a display issue for edge scaler on ring connection of dual mono inputs.
Re: eDRUMin version 2 BETA
Rob what u did seems to have fixed the problem. thanks, Mbira
Re: eDRUMin version 2 BETA
Would it be possible to have the option of where you want to save the exported presets? It would provide an easier work flow as probably no one wants to leave them on the desktop. thanks for considering it, Mbira
Re: eDRUMin version 2 BETA
Just updated to build 36, got the dreaded "unsaved settings will be lost" screen when trying to apply the update to the ED4 on my host port. Nothing happened when clicking OK, got a crash when clicking Cancel. Upon restart of the Control App, update seems to have gone through regardless. Report attached.
Miscellaneous Roland triggers. ED-10 + ED-4. MacBook Pro (2015), 16G RAM, Big Sur. Superior Drummer 3. Logic Pro.
Re: eDRUMin version 2 BETA
Hi Rob, could you have a look at the fast-stepping fix, please? It's still way too aggressive for offbeat open hats in v2 (for reference, 1.6 was perfect)
Or, if it is redundant due to SD3 improvements, please remove it as an option - although I'd much prefer your fix to the SD3 one.
Re: eDRUMin version 2 BETA
I'll have a look. Toontrack has fixed this in Superior Drummer, and their solution is the way to go. I'm not sure in EZD has the same fix. If if does, I'll remove the option from eDRUMin as I'm always happy to simplify things. If anyone it running EZD can let me know, it would be much appreciated.MWJT42 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 18, 2022 5:13 pmHi Rob, could you have a look at the fast-stepping fix, please? Re: eDRUMin version 2 BETA
I just checked, and the fast stepping fix is still functioning properly, although it does seem like I need to adjust some of its parameters to get it to work optimally with the latest version of SD3. I'll include the changes in the next build. I'm not inclined to invest time in a proper A B comparison, but I think you'll find that changes made in SD3 are in fact responsible for the change in behavior.
