GGD Invasion hi hat setup

Has anyone been able to setup the hihats properly with GGD? I got everything else mapped and working properly except I can’t get the hihats to work like they should. I found a youtube video and followed his steps but at most I can get closed hihat sounds and the chick sound when using the foot pedal but nothing when I open the hi hats.

You've gone in the the GGD settings and set the hihat CC to CC4? I think you'll probably also need to 'invert' it in the GGD settings as well. Here's a really poorly made video that might help.

I had watched about 3-4 other videos and they all had a different way of setting it up that were more complicated, this one seemed to easy but it worked! Thanks for linking me this one.
