I know I'm a nobody on this forum and I was just researching trigger modules when I got here and read your post about the controllers being out of stock. If the following helps then awesome, if not sorry to take up time.
heisner.com claims 6,216 in stock. I've no idea the price, may be hoarded and marked way up. I could not find the company on blacklists but YMMV and it may be a crap company.

As far as casings, would it be possible to recycle, cut and shape old PC cases to work for you. If no one has cleaned it out at the warehouse next door I think there are a ton of old PCs that the casings might could be created from.

I have plenty of casings coming. Casing are not normally an issue. You notice how there's no price listed on that page? Go ahead an ask for a quote for 200 pcs.

Ok. I really have no affiliation, I had just read your sticky post on out of stock again. Sorry it was no help.

I asked a quote one mounth ago when I saw the message from Rob about the chip shortage. Just like you I found strange that online dealers show more than 5000 units in stock. One firm like this one asked more than 600$ for each cheap !
I had a quote for 200 unit that exceeds 100 000 $ !
