Unfortunately there isnt any option to turn Midi clock message on the Yamaha module on/off.
So it is impossible to read the midi info now before its gone.
Just scroll up to it. Just make sure you scroll before another 1000 events arrive

I have the same problem with midi clock messages as Superfish. I have an Alesis dx7 module connected to host port. There is no way to shut these off in the module that I can see. The ability to toggle them out would make the midi monitor more useable. Everything else seems to be running great! thanks Rob. -Mbira

Build 33 (firmware remains build 31)
  • Added a filter to remove 'Active Sensing' and 'MIDI Clock' messages from the MIDI Monitor.
I've decided to take the lazy approach for now, adding a single 'filter' button that will filter both 'Active Sensing' and 'MIDI Clock' messages. Perhaps the functionality can be expanded in the future, but it will have to do for now. When the filter is active and it's actively filtering, the little bar in the middle of the icon will light up green.

I would like to move the 'Advanced / Standard' switch to the firmware page because it looks so out of place where it is now. Anyone object of have thoughts on this?

No objections. You could even move it under the eDRUMin logo as a selection like those other options.

I find it useful where it is for changing to individual response curves and such. If it is moved to firmware page wouldn't it take more clicking to do this?

I've posted build 34
  • Added Edge switch thresh control to adjust metal cymbal switch sensitivity.
  • Fixed issues with mouse wheel and travel / splash sensitivity controls.
  • Updating a preset will now correctly update the metadata shown in the Preset Manager.
  • MIDI Clock and Active Sensing messages will not only cause LEDS in the external MIDI view to lightly flash.
  • Updated VH-13 / VH-10 / RHH-135 presets to automatically be set to Hihat 1 Cymbal.
  • Fixed display issues when resetting a pedal input when no pedal is connected.
  • Fixed HSS scale control not dimming properly.
  • Disable compatibility setting is now always visible.
