Eh ... I'm sorry. I didn't realize it was a change in the type of input pedal.
I understood it as a change in the function of the sustain (momentary) pedal.
It never occurred to me that someone might own a latch pedal, because I don't have one.

I finally had time to setup from scratch. It was easier to Calibrate because my A2E kit (UFO Drums center piezo) didn't require some of the somewhat extreme settings I ended up using when I first setup my E10. Previously I had wide Hold times for some reason on the Kick and Floor Tom - I think I was getting double hits without them. Am I correct to assume the triggering has been improved since I first setup my E10? The Hi-Hat doesn't have any unwanted sounds triggering at the top or bottom - it's acting a lot like a real hi-hat.

So just starting over, using the Calibrate feature on each pad and cymbal, without much fine tuning, is already better than all the tweaks I did previously.

EDIT: Worked on recording a cover yesterday - the drum set played so much better than in the past! Can't recommend enough for people to try saving current configuration and build a new one from scratch. My bigger drums are triggering much better and the hi-hat is just spot on now.

Having a bit of an issue trying to update the firmware from 1.6.2.6 to 2.0.0.25. After pressing the update button it says 'rebooting' and just hangs there. The only way to close the program is to use task manager. Ive rebooted my laptop and eDrumin 10 to no avail.

I'm on windows 10.

Is the eDRUMin connected connected using a hub? If it is, try connecting without the hub, or try changing USB ports. Also, there should be a file called MEC_Log.txt on your desktop. If you email it to support at audiofront dot net, I'll have a look and see if there's anything in there that might explain the problem.

I'm posting build 27.
  • Added an additional HSS control to improve hotspot targeting for some pads.
  • Preset Manager remembers last selected preset.
  • Preset Manager will no longer start showing Device Presets when using auto-select causes the currently selected device to change.
  • Updated manual to include information about the new controls added for hotspot suppression and positional sensing.
  • Added a Reggae EZX factory drum map.

Not connected through a hub. I've tried uninstalling everything and starting fresh but still the same issue.
I'll mail the file across to see what you make of it.
