Choke not working (AT) on EDR1

Post by AKA Wayne »

I have an ED4R1 With 2.1.1.5 and the AT choke is not sensing/sending. I tested it with my ed10 and cymbals that don't work on the ed4 work on ed10 and vice versa. All three of my cymbals/inputs will not sense and send the AT. Could there be a problem with my unit?

Highly unlikely. Probably an issue with the drum map or pad settings. When I have time, I'll confirm that ED4R1. Can you send me a screenshot of your settings.

Hey Rob. Any ideas why my chokes aren't working on the ED4R1? Like I said, I've confirmed it's not the chokes themselves since they all work on my ed10. Thanks for looking.

I'm not entirely sure because choking is working properly here on my ED4R1.

Thanks for checking Rob. I am plugged into the host port of my ed10. Wonder if that might be an issue? I did have a 12v adapter powering my optical HHC. Could the more than 3v have affected the unit?

Does your choke control light up when you pinch the edge of your cymbal like it does in my screenshot?

No. When I move the cymbal to my ed10 it works. I've tried with multiple cymbals and inputs.
