Issues with Logic Pro X compatibility?

Post by The Source »

I haven’t tried yet with the newest firmware update(2.0.2.4).. but Ive been noticing lately that it seems like Logic Pro X does not “see” any incoming signals from Edrumin. This happens with both the native drum designer in Logic, or when I try to load a plugin instance of SD3.

Any other MIDI controllers I have set up, work with either plug-in no problem, and I know the computer is still receiving MIDI data from the Edrummin, because Ive ran a test with the Mac MIDI Studio, while the problem was happening, and everything seemed to be working as it should.. just for some reason, the MIDI data does not make it into Logic.
But, If I open a stand-alone session of SD3, while having a session In Logic opened simultaneously, then everything works just fine in the standalone session.

Is this a known issue? Am I doing something wrong?
Ive only recently started messing around in Logic again, and up until the last few weeks, Ive only had experience using Edrummin along side Pro Tools.

Thanks

I think the fact that it's working in SD3 standalone and Pro Tools implies that the issue is within Logic itself. Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with Logic. Perhaps you accidently made changes to the Logic Environment settings?
