This has just started happening!

Sometimes when I hit my first strike or an isolated strike on the hi hat I'm getting the sound of the ride bow. Checked crosstalk- shouldn't be an issue with the hi hat on its own stand (and not touching up against the rack) and I'm playing through headphones too.
Really scratching my head with this one.

If you are using version 2, you might want to have a look at the MIDI monitor to see where the offending note is coming from.

Just looked and there's nothing that looks untoward in there.
Might try the hats in a different input later.

Reset my hi hat and pedal and no difference.
If my hi hat ATV is completely open I get nothing from the bow at all. Should I be? Can't change it in the software because it says 'controlled by hi hat pedal' .

Does anyone have an updated copy of the settings for these hi hats?

Hard to solve your problem without more information.

What application or hardware are you triggering?
Are you using drum maps?
Is hihat levels mode set to use drum maps?

Screenshots of your hihat cymbal and your hihat pedal settings would answer all of these questions.

Triggering AD2
eDrumin is set to AD drum map
I'll email you my screenshots in the morning. I've spent most of the evening trying to sort this but now my eyes are starting to give up on me!!

It is cured. I have no idea why it was doing it but I uninstalled both eDRUMIN AND AD2 from my system and reinstalled and now all seems fine.
The only thing I can think is that, for some reason, the mapping in AD2 was somehow messed up.
