Problem using a Dual Mono Input with two Triggers

Post by Daniel »

I have a question about dual mono input with DDrum triggers and a splitter cable. I have tried both, a splitter cable with and without resistor. With the cable without resistor I have the problem that there is a lot of crosstalk or even both triggers are triggered. With the cable with resistor I have no problem with crosstalk but one of the two input channels gets such a low signal that it cannot be compensated by the gain. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks a lot!

You should be using splitters without resistors. Sound to me like your cable is not a stereo to dual mono like it needs to be. Can you send a link to it?

Hi Rob,
thanks for your reply. It's this cable: https://www.cordial-cables.com/en/products/cfy-vgg

That cable should work fine. Can you post a screenshot of your settings one of the dual mono inputs?

New facts:
Changed the trigger an it worked. The old trigger ran perfect when plugged directly into the edrumin module. It didn't work properly with the splitter cable. Scary but seems to be a problem with the trigger.
