TranslationI was wondering if it's possible to change banks of notes on my eDrumin 4 while a hihat pedal is connected to the pedal input, via a pedal connected to my midi expression io (or a third party midi controller?)
It would be great to access the bank change functionality in this way? Would the eDrumin software be able to detect midi messages coming from elsewhere and utilise them in this way?
I can't seem to find much on bank changes, so forgive me if this has been covered!
(I'm delving into my eDrumin much more deeply for the first time since getting it a couple of years ago, and it's such a great and flexible device!)

Yes, it's possible and is covered in the manual. It would be much easier to do with a MIDI Expression connected to the host port of an ED8 or ED10. You'll need to find a way to route the MIDI from the iO to the ED4. If you are using a DAW, then it should be simple enough.
