Hi All...
just got my double ED4 this afternoon... i thought it will b perfect combo with my ED8, since i need 15 inputs of my kit n considering waiting time for ED10 will available again, i did try to prepare with digging bout realizing my dream kit on some questions on few topics in this forum these days, but still i face unpredictable issues whic ill share now hopefully someone will bring the light to my darkness room.. LoL, so here it is:
im running on ryzen 5 2600 with two nvme SSD, 32 Gb DD4 RAM and 500 W Silverstone PSU,
i connected ED8 with pair of ED4 via unpowered Orico 4 port USB3... my 6 usb ports are filled (i put ED8 in USB. 2.0 since its not working in usb3with that connection).. first i got lagged respon in my hi hat.. turns out i got to switch cable.. but after that... my EDC got freeze and redisconecting for a while (i installed EDC Beta 2.3.1.4 btw)
i assumed its power issues right?... since my orico usb hub had micro usb port on it, i was planning to powered trhough it, but still wondering bout the suitable charger head.. i got 5V charger n a huawei fast charger head.. which one is compatible? i afrraid to damage the EDs...if its too over power... i run out ports on ED8 to give power through it.
Any enlighment will b appreciated, thanks in advance

Just so I can properly understand, this is your problem "my EDC got freeze and redisconecting for a while" right?

I don't think it's a power issue. How about you start simple and build it up. Start with just your ED8. Then connect the hub and nothing else. Make sure that works. Next, connect an ED4 into the hub and make sure that works. Next, plug in the other ED4.

i got nothing problem when using ED8 alone....not yet to try ED8+1 ED4...but I've been more than two hours now, with ED8+2 ED4 in unpowered orico 4 port usb3 and Thanks GOD have no redisconnecting issue at all( tho I don't know whats fixed it yet..Lol)
I'm currently more busy struggling with some SD3 rustling sounds from my headphone while im trying to set HH (mainly i using presets, since i I haven't found the video tutorial yet bout stand/impact/pedal kind of thing...too lazy to digging the forum or manual for it..Lol, just try learning by doing now.
Maybe my PC was adapting to my new Combo ED? dunno for sure but its safe now...and found new chalenge.....HH rustling sound...huuuft
