I want to buy the Edrumin10 but i would like to get a confirmation if it is enough for my "needs".
My set is:
Snare (2 zones for position sensing)
Kick (1 zone)
Tom 1 (2 zones)
Tom 2 (2 zones)
Tom 3 (2 zones)
Tom 4 (2 zones)
Hihat + Controller (Roland VH-12)
Crash (2 zones) (Roland CY-14c)
Ride (Lemon 18" 3 zone)
Maybe some time another crash or china (2 zone?)
Would this mean i need 13 connectors (without the optional crash or china)
Which means it doesn't have enough right?
2 more questions:
- How do rimshots work, does the snare needs to be 3-zone?
- I think the Roland CY-14c has positioning sensing. Does this also work?
Edrumin10 enough inputs
Re: Edrumin10 enough inputs
ED10 have enough inputs for your setup.
You can use a splitter to plug the kick with the second ride input if needed. This way you'll even have one input left for your futur second crash or china.
You'll get rimshot and sidestick on your snare with only one input. Check the manual for more info, there's a section to learn how to set it up.
