Edrumin4, latest software.
Not sure what's going on. Had my L80 3 zone ride working. Been disconnected couple of days.
Tonite, restarted I'm not getting any triggering.
My wiring is correct (see attached) . Input mode is Stereo.
Connected my kick and getting responses no problems.
totally baffled...
Metal 3 zone Ride no response?

Re: Metal 3 zone Ride no response?
Everything looks in order. If I had to guess, you probably got your two connectors connected the wrong way around.
Re: Metal 3 zone Ride no response?
Hi Rob, I plugged both into my old standby Roland TD3. Sure enough my bow trigger wasn't triggering. lord and behold, pulled the project box and the piezo was detached. So much for double adhesive foam dots.
ONce got it squared away. Plugged back into edrumin, and at first same result, but pulled USB out and back in and getting response now. So lesson learned with your module. If there is a bad input, then no detection even with the Bell?
Also, I connected my 2 zone crash with choke. Checked it in y TD3. Worked fine. Plugged into edrumin input 3 and nothing. see attached screenshot. Do i have the correct pad type?

Re: Metal 3 zone Ride no response?
Last week I spent a lot of time adding some new features and fixing small bugs and issues with metal cymbal support. If you have any ongoing issues, you might want to give a the new BETA a try which includes those fixes.

Oh great rob thankx
Re: Metal 3 zone Ride no response?
Hi ROb,
upgraded edrumin module.
The crash is input 3. Why is the display grayed out and cannot select to calibrate and Icon is a Bell?
My piezo wiring is: ceramic - tip; brass - sleeve; choke - ring;
Since the choke is connected to the ring, is edrumin think it's the bell?

Re: Metal 3 zone Ride no response?
Hmm. Ya, it looks like both input 1 and input 2 are set to be 3-zone cymbals. I''ll need to prevent that from happening. If you set input 1 to a dual zone input, you can then set input 2 to a non 3-zone input and that should fix the issue. That's an issue that's been there since day 1. I'll work on a fix today.
UPDATE: Fixed for the next build.

Re: Metal 3 zone Ride no response?
Hi rob
I might be confused?
For the ride:
Input 1 -dual zone - bow
Input 2 - metal 3zone - bell
If correct then input 1 is always active , input 2 not sensed when bell is struck.
crash:
Input 3 - dual zone - works as expected
Thankx

Re: Metal 3 zone Ride no response?
Are you using 'Bell is Piezo' or 'Bell is Switch'?
Re: Metal 3 zone Ride no response?
Rob, Bell is piezo for now (circuit diagram in1st post above). Later will use piezo to switch circuit or a membrane switch.
Thankx for your time
