Edrumin4 latest version ; Addictive Drums 2 (AD2).

Ride Cymbal 3 zone selected as pad type.

Ride uses piezos both bow and bell. Thought i try the piezo for the bell before implementing as a switch.

Misunderstanding what is being sent to AD2.

When in AD2 learn mode and looking at AD2 midi monitor, striking the Bell and Bow, is see each with midi note 77 and get the correct sound. But, looking on the Control App-> Midi Monitor, that is what is being sent midi note 77.

Why is the Control App displaying for the Ride: midi values 60, 61, 62, 63.

see attach files for screenshots.

You gave me a screenshot of the drum map settings, but I can't see if the input is even set to use the drum map. Can you please post a screenshot of the eDRUMin settings for the cymbal.

@rob aaah my bad. Forgot to select Addictive Drums Map.

Now i can troubleshoot. Getting mostly bell (61) when striking the bow.

I'm sure this is due to bell isolation. Just protyping so more work to be done.

Setting to Roland 3 zone:the bell is piezo. Does it matter if not a switch?

thankx
