Firmware update failure

Hi Rob,
Hoping you can bail me out of an issue here.
I've just downloaded the latest software for the eDRUMin v2.0.1.6 for Windows, and pushed out the latest firmware to both of my eDRUMin 10's.
Device #1 worked a charm, device #2 failed, and now appears to be dead.
The two devices were daisy chained together, with the master being connected directly by USB to the computer, no hubs in play here.
I've broken the daisy chain, and tried connecting the troubled device directly, but neither the computer, nor the software now see the troubled device.
I have device #1 set up with all the pads, and device #2 set up with all the cymbals, so I've now effectively lost 50% of my kit.
Any ideas how I can rescue the device?
Kind regards,
Karl
