R Drum stuff compatible with eDRUMin 10?

Post by FatTony81 »

Hi,

first of all congratulation - your eDRUMin product is really praised all over the net and also I'm very interested, as I have converted a acoustic kit to an eDrum kit with center triggers of R Drum with five toms.
My only question is, if the Trigger elements, provided by R Drums, are supported. One can find them here:

Thank you in advance and regards from Berlin,
Jan

I am running R Drums "Dual trigger set (trigger cone pro + rim piezo)" and "Decoupler PRO" in my 14" snare and 12", 13", 16" toms. Using their Monogon trigger for my 22" bass drum. All are center mounted on DIY wooden cross bars/boards. Using drum-tec Real Feel 3ply heads, except for BD and floor tom, which are drum-tec Design 2ply heads.

Basics work fine and am happy with the ED10.

I am not yet satisfied with hotspot suppression and positional sensing so am experimenting with placement height of trigger/cone and head tension. Might eventually ask Rob for tech support.
