Hi, I'm interested in getting my hands on edrumin 10 in end July early August once it's back in stock.
I initially bought a Yamaha DTX 452k as a starter kit for my son to learn drumming and I got hooked as well. Since my purchase of the kit in march, I've upgraded all pads to mesh, slowly getting the cymbals to 3 zones in prep and play around with sd3. Then the limitations of the module hit me.
After much research, I've decided to go with edrumin for my usage. But I have a peculiar requirement.. which is to ease the usage of the kit for my 7 year old son.
What I'm looking for is, to be using edrumin configured and utilize sd3 for my playing. But when my boy wants to use the kit, he would be using the module instead of messing about with sd3 etc.
So ultimately, I want all wires to come in to edrumin, and I should be able to use either sd3 or the module.. maybe usb out from the edrumin to trigger the kit in DTX module?
Simply put, son goes to the kit, turns on the dtx402 module and can start playing without much fuss, while all connections are handled by edrumin.
Is it possible?

Re: Edrumin with Yamaha dtx402 module
I'm pretty sure you can just plug the Yamaha DTX402 into the USB host port of the eDRUMin and then use the ED10 to trigger sounds on the DTX402. At the same time, you have the ED10 connected via USB to your computer to trigger sounds in SD3.
