Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS

Post by sfdadds »

Can the eDRUMin software be verified on Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS prior to
purchasing one of the eDrumin4/8/10 devices or does the firmware get checked first?

You can install and run the Control Application. If everything is in order, you'll see "Connect your eDRUMin" message when the application loads.

Installation seems to have worked fine.

Created /opt/eDRUMin/ and eDRUMIn application
Created ~/AudioFront/ and eDRUMIn/Factory (drumMaps, pedalPresets, triggerPresets, triggerPresets/factory)
Created ~/.AudioFront/eDRUMin.pdf[/pdf]

When executing from menu, it seems to be 'Starting' to load then all quiet, nothing.
Segmentation fault (core dumped) when executing /opt/eDRUMin/eDRUMin from terminal.

Some info from journalctl after executing from console a couple of times.

Looks like I forgot to properly set a define the last time I built it. I just rebuilt it again. Install the version from the following link and it should work fine.

Installed fine and 'Plug-in your eDRUMin' window appeared.

Thank You.
