Rim Trigger issue help please Rob

Rob, the rim trigger on my snare technically triggers as it should and gives me a grey spike in the scrolling screen, but its not until i get to a certain force of hit that it generates a midi note. I get nothing below a velocity of 6 even though i can see the yellow rim meter move well and grey spike with evey light tap. Threshold is at 0.6 and the snare head is remarkably sensitive. Just wondering what im missing here?

That's normal. All articulations are detected via the head sensor of the drum, so force of your sidestick has to be strong enough to register on the head sensor.

I have the same issue, Rim trigger respond with spike, but it doesn't sounds.
