Hello,
I currrntly have a Roland td-27 and would like to add some more inputs to it for additional cymbals. I do not use an external program like superior drummer for my sounds and I am wondering if the eDrumin will work with the td-27 to add additional inputs if I use a midi cable to the midi input on the td-27? Will I be able to assign sounds to the additional inputs from the eDrumin with the td-27, or do I have to use an external program like superior drummer to accomplish this?
Thanks so much!
Will eDrumin work to expand Roland td-27 module via midi?

AFAIK Roland modules do not allow you to use external MIDI to increase the number of inputs. Yes, if you were triggering a software application like Superior Drummer, then you could combine the MIDI from the eDRUMin and the TD-27 to trigger more sounds.
