Hello all,
I am relatively new to edrumming and the E-Drumin product as well. That being said, I recently purchased the EDI 10 with the sole goal of expanding by set's inputs to accomodate more cymbals and percussion pads since I've maxed out the Mimic Pro. I have no idea how to accomplish this. I've searched all the youtube videos and other posts on this forum. I'm simply looking for how to hook up the unit to the Mimic Pro and with what cords. Its my understanding that I can power the unit with USB and then run a midi out to midi in (on the mimic pro) but I can't get an of the extra pads to show up on the mimic when they're plugged into the Edrumin10. I see the light for the unit's power on but I don't see a light when I hook up the midi cable.
Thanks for all the help, sorry for the lack of understanding.
Thanks

Yes, you would connect the the eDRUMin to the Mimic with a MIDI cable (ED10 MIDI out to Mimic MIDI in).
You'll probably want to change the eDRUMin inputs to use 'custom notes'. That's about as much as I can tell you. You'll need to figure out how to setup those extra cymbals in the Mimic UI and what MIDI notes to send, and then make use the eDRUMin is send the correct notes.

Thanks for the reply. Do I need to pre-configure the pads and to midi-notes with the software for the ED? How would i change the inputs with the ED?
Thanks,
Brad

Disregard, the problem was a bad trigger pad. Thanks
