Same trigger, same position but different behaviour?

Ok I am officially at a loss here. I am starting to think that the Groovedot + Groovebar triggers and the Edrumin don't go well together

Now after restarting my computer, all the triggers, even the ones that were working properly. Are inverted. I think there is some compatibility issue here and thinking about returning the Drumtecs and just get the Roland RT-30HR which are listed as compatible. Thoughts?

Triggers are pretty simple devices, so something else must be wrong

It's late here, bit I'll see if I'm able to reproduce your inverted issue tomorrow. I tried breiffly earlier this evening, but no such luck.

Also, you should probably have the pad type set to 'acoustic trigger'.

I tested some more today, and I'm pretty confident there is no bug causing the signal to be inverted. Based on all the images you have sent, my best guess is that your triggers are not mounted high enough, and so the head of your drum is not activating the head sensor of the trigger properly.

Thanks Rob. I will test again but this time with the Rolands. I have decided to send the Drumtecs back for some more versatile solution that doesn't require dismantling everything all the time.

Can't wait to rock my Edrumins.

To me it looks like you need to relax the decay, raise your threshold a bit and reduce the gain a lot. Even with new triggers those settings look problematic.

I tried adjusting them to death. Sent them back. Got the Rolands and everything is now working flawlessly. I tweaked the options to suit my playing style and that's it. Simple things are the best.
