File import/export

Post by Mr_Bluesguy »

I have a rack mount stage pc for live performance and take a backup laptop along for emergencies. So any changes made in edrumin settings on the main pc need to be added to the backup pc.
My question is if there is a a way to take a "global" snapshot of ALL of the input information at once and store it to a file, which could be imported by the back up pc, or is it only possible to store each input's data (user pre-set) individually? So basically importing one file instead of 14 individual ones in my set up.
Thanks

What version of the control application are you using?

Assuming you are using a recent version of the control application, you can save device presets from the preset manager.

Yes, I'm using the latest version. After reading in the manual, my understanding was that each input can be saved to its its own pre-set. So you are saying that saving a single pre-set covers all of the inputs?

Also, I am using both ED10 and ED4. Do I save a pre-set for each device?

Click on a device icon, and you can save a device preset ED10 and ED4 will need to be saved as seperate device presets.
