Missing notes when hitting two pads in quick succession

Post by gringochilango »

I noticed today that if I am striking the snare right after another head, whether it be the lick or a Tom, I am
Missing a lot of snare hits. This happens on other heads also, not just the snare. If I tap the floor Tom and then the rack Tom one right after the other really quickly, I will get missed triggers.

I have the edrumin 4

I am not using cross talk cancellation at all. I have tried changing the hold times etc. any advice welcome.

You're sure the issue is with the eDRUMin? What are you triggering sounds on? Can you use the eDRUMin MIDI monitor to see if the proper MIDI messages are being sent on not?

I think the issue actually resolve itself after restarting my computer. The edrumin software was showing the missed hits. At any rate for whatever reason I think it’s good now. Thanks for the reply. I’ll follow up if it happens again.
