Trigger Not Being Registered

Post by seo »

When I try to connect my cymbal triggers it shows "!" on the icon and does not make any sounds. It seems to work every once in a while with a combination of restarts and spamming the pad type. Is there a way around this?

@Rob I tried doing the instructions in that thread but can't seem to make the disable check appear on the Mac.

option-shift-click

You might also want to move on to version 2 BETA, which is probably more stable that version 1.6 at this point. In version 2 I've relaxed the threshold for detecting compatibility issues and it would be great to hear if the changes I made resolve the issue.

@Rob I tried option sift click but that doesn't seem to do anything, where exactly am I supposed to click? And sure I can try updating the firmware. On the app it says it's up to date on 1.6.2.6. How can I try beta v2?

@Rob Whenever you can, can you let me know where to download the v2 for eDRUMin Control software? The option - shift - click does not work for me so I want to try out the v2 beta that you mentioned to see if my triggers are able to be recognized.

Where to click
If you follow that thread, you'll see an image showing where that checkbox is. You need to option-shift-click on the checkbox for it to become visible.

@Rob thanks I was able to update to v2 but it seems like half my cymbals are still not being recognized/registered...

I am also still not sure what you mean by option shift click. I tried clicking on the screen but that check box does not pop up. Not quite sure how I'm supposed to disable the check. Has that feature been tested on the MacOS? I'm currently on Big Sur 11.6. Thanks.

Yes, is has been tested in macOS. You need to option-shift-click in the red rectangle. For Windows that's alt-shift-click.
