TD17 and Edrumin4 expansion

Hi there,

First off, I love the product!

I bought it to expand my kit and it’s great. However, I’m one TRS cable short, and I plugged the HH cable of the TD17 to one of my crash cymbals. Of course I ran into issues because the module sends CC4 when I hit my crash and that will change my actual hi hat to fully open in SD3 and I have to release and step on the pedal to reset. Before I go and get another cable, I was wondering if I can somehow workaround it? Disable CC messages from the module or SD3? This is probably more Roland related than Edrumin, please delete the post if it doesn’t belong here.

I have my hi hat, 3rd crash and one PD125 connected to Edrumin, in TD17 I have, kick,snare,crash1, crash2(HH cable), tom1,tom2,tom3 and ride

I'm not sure if this will solve your problem or not, but you can probably use a TS cable from your hihat controller to the eDRUMin and it should still work.

UPDATE: I think you can probably change the Hihat CC in the TD-17 to something will ultimately be ignored by the TD-17 . CC 100 or something should be innocuous.

Thank you Rob, I plugged the HH controller to Edrumin with TS cable and it works now! Saved me time and money
