Dual Zone toms?

With a 2nd module, thought i experimenting with a dual zone tom.

Issue is tapping the rim piezo (without head attached) produces same note as the head piezo?

My connections re correct according to the manual for Roland dual zone. Tip => head, Ring => rim

The rim piezo is mounted on an L-Bracket attached to the shell. I'll try attached piezo directly to the shell next, but should not be any difference, but i'll try.

Not sure what i'm missing to get the dual zone to work properly.

The scrolling view and the VU meters are sowing no signal from the rim sensor, so it's probably a wiring issue of the piezo is dead.
