I have just been thumbing through the forum thinking of how to work around only being able to have one loaded preset, and needing to use my setup between my at home bop kit which i tend to play with a soft bass beater, and the kit of my regular club, which has a much louder felt beater...I know that there are a LOT of complex dynamic variables , that would ideally mean i take the laptop with me and load the different preset each time, but sometimes this is just not possible...
so with that said, and knowing we are in work around territory...I wondered if I might be able to add one passive volume pot style knob in a little customer break out for each with a stereo jack at each side, so that one end connects from my 2box trigit sensors, whilst the other end of each goes ot the e drumin.
that way I might be able to setup once to the quieter kit ( i.e. set edrumin to its Highest expected gain needs) and then , when at the club kit, trim each input DOWN to get some dynamic range back....
I know it wouldnt take into account reletive decay times etc..but I think I will cook this up as a "better than nothing" solution.
