GoEdrum Hi Hat Controller

Post by Josh »

Does anyone know how many articulations you can get with the goedrum HH controller and Superior Drummer 3 using the EdrumIn 4? By articulations I mean pedal articulations such as open, closed, half open etc

All of them...5 I think?

The controller just sends (via eDRUMin) 0-127 on CC4. SD3 then interrupts these as the different HH heights.

Calibration can be a pain, I need to make a feature request about this, once you set it by the pedal you can manipulate the bars to refine it, but going back to edit this after testing means the pedal input is then considered again, so you can't just manually edit it.

Yeah, that's really a point.
You know, just adjusting the top end, to dial in the "tight" state a bit better - for example.

And - by the way - I find the GoEdrum controller does quite a good job. Even though just being a sliding potentiometer, or because of that...
For 70 € I find it quite expensive, and since a was quite far with my hall sensor controller DIY thing - I returned the GoEdrum and finished the Hall sensor setup.
