This is today, the small table and the smal 24" TFT are out of order.
It was difficult to look an the screen to the side.

Now, just the 2 on the desk and the 47" LED :-) I love it.

Remember, all cheap components, except Robs devices - of course - and the 3 CY-5 Roland cymbals.
This Gear4Music Sample Pad is awesome!
The routing is done - if I want to do some live looping - thru Ableton Live and the Novation Launch Pad mini ... I really like coloured lights and buttons - and screens.

Coming back to the topic:

And: Last new part of gear: my new hihat controller using a 0,68 € hall sensor! hahaha! Baaaaam!

PS: I tried a cheap buttkicker, and also that part stays here. It feels like on a huge stage ...
I'm on this page trying to choose a magnet(s).

Any recommendation ?

Also, I'm planning to buy this wall mount to power it, but would it easy / cheap to power it with a battery or the power would get low too often ?

That power supply looks like a good choice. That sensor is very sensitive so you might not need as powerful magnet as you might think.

jup, Rob was faster ... that's it.

I would like to mention those USB power supplies ... if you have a USB port available.

Thank you both for the replies.

The power supply seems nice. So if I understand, one would place it in a project box and wires is thing inside it?

The only downside is that the shipping time is too long for me :D

If you can get you hands on an old hard drive and you have Torx screw drivers take it apart and pull the magnets from the drive's moveable arms. I the magnets are always glued to a metal base. I put the base in a clamp and use a small hammer and chisel. It only takes a little force to pop them off. Once in a while I break the magnet but that happens only rarely.
