Ah ha! Yes, that was the issue! Except there are still a couple pads sharing the same part so I likely need to finish re-doing the jacks etc. some of them might be on the same circuit. (like both on head or both on rim) easy fix. getting close but I gotta finish re-doing the rest of the jacks before I do anything else since I will likely have to change the midi number again anyway for some of them. thanks all for the help!
