Hi,

I am not able to get the pedal working.

I'm using Jman's conversion module which he made to work with a 2box drumit five MK1 module.
It does work for that module.

However, I'm not managing to get the pedal move translated to any response in the edrumin while calibrating.

I'm using a edrumin 10 with Firmware 1.4.0.20
Pedal is linked to input 10
Pedal Mode is set to expression pedal
I tried Auto sense, Roland type, yamaha type ...
Piezo is cabled with stereo trs Jack to input 10
From the stealth module stereo trs Jack to pedal 1 input.

Edit: I forgot, it's a Hall effect sensor.
I just found out, the the calibration reacts, if I turn the Potentiometer, which is used to adust the hotness of the cymb piezo. So could it be an improper wiring of the cable?

Any idea?

What is the function of the "Stealth Box"? I don't think that should be needed at all.

It houses the electronics of the hall effect sensoric. It's mounted at the base plate the of the hihat.
The Magnet is glued to the underside of the foot pedal.

So when you press down the pedal, the Magnet moves towards the stealth conversion box.

Is the conversion box active (have DC power input)?

I've got a feeling that the 2box way of doing things combines the hihat pedal and cymbal into a single input. That's not going to work with the eDRUMin without a bit of hacking.

Yes, 2 Box uses a y-splitter (1 Mono to the cymbal for the piezo input, the other one to the hall effect sensor).
2Box hihat input is stereo.

My knowledge of electronics is very limited, but if you're interessted and you would guide me, I can connect to the 2box module and try to measure the Signals.

That converter was made by Jman or something? Do you know what the best way for me to contact him is?

Jman passed away last year.

Another person with great knowlegde about the 2box module could be Anders from Zourman.com. He's also building 2box-style conversion boxes.

That's sad to hear. I did some more googling and I think 2Box uses a very proprietary method of dealing with the hihat. I don't think there's any easy way to get that sensor working with eDRUMin, a least not without completely gutting it and powering it externally.
