No love for single zone cymbal?

I'm building some single zone low volume cymbals and hope to take advantage of edge sense, but it's just occurred that single zone cymbal isn't an input option on eDRUMin:

How should I set up these cymbals? Set to dual zone, but select mono input? Is there a reason they're not included? Many commercial single zone cymbals exist.

Yes, dual zone cymbal and set the input to mono.

And since they are single zone, split the input and use dual mono. 2 cymbals 1 input. I used to split an input between my single zone bass drum and single zone splash. It works great.

Not related to the question, It's more for Rob, but in the screenshot, under the rubber pad, there is typo in piezo.

Also a missing ) at the end of the 3 zone ride

I take that back. It's already fixed in version 1.3.

I screenshot the manual, so the typo still exists there.
