Pedal recommendation?

What’s a reliable, affordable pedal to use for bank switching?

I’ve been using the cheap Casio SP-3 that came with my kid’s digital piano but it’s so lousy we never even used it for the keyboard. It sort of does the job as a switch but it’s mostly hit or miss.

I'm using a Quicklok PS-25 - works great. I noticed they are $14 on B&H but $31 on Musician's Friend. Reviews are mixed.

I'll raise the switch debounce time for sustain pedals and footswitch in the next build. That will probably take care of the issue.

I should add that my entire kit including that pedal sits on top of a 3/4” rubber mat. Great for dampening vibrations, but probably not very conducive to responsive pedal action. Was wondering if a more “clicky” type of pedal would be helpful, but I’ll wait to see what your fix does first.

Would something like this latching footswitch work? For a buck more you can get a dual switch, would that be beneficial?

Mosky or Skinny Little Twins are small, good price and work with everything (no LEDs or resistors)

My only advice it to avoid latching switches. Momentary switches are much more versatile.

I tried it with an expression pedal from my guitar pedal board and it works, but that seems like overkill for just switching banks. Also I need that pedal for the guitar :)
If a latching pedal would still work for simple switching, I'm inclined to throw 20 bucks at that.

So I got that double latching pedal but something is weird.

What I'd like to do is use Switch 1 on the pedal to control banks on eDrumIn Input 3 (high tom vs low tom in SD3) and use Switch 2 to change Input 5 (splash vs china cymbal). Seems like a pretty straightforward use case.

It only sometimes works. But it's random: sometimes switch 1 changes input 5, sometimes switch 2 changes input 3. More often, nothing gets switched at all. And when I step on my hihat, the bank numbers on the right light up, as if they were chick/splash indicators. I've reset the input settings and tried a few times, with the same result.

I fixed some ED10 pedal sensing issues with 1.3.0.11. Have you installed that version?
