Mounting options?

My eDrumIn 10 arrived today, so yay, now I have two boxens (also have the 4). While I appreciate the included velcro mounts, I find this is not an ideal solution for me. I wonder if anyone here has come up with any alternative approaches for an esthetically pleasing, yet sturdy and accessible, mounting solution.

The velcro is pretty sturdy. Make sure you have it very snug around the device before you pull it tight around the stand. It's another video I need to make.

It's plenty sturdy and functional, I'm just not down with the way it looks. I wonder for example if there's a way to bolt it down to some sort of shelving that I could mount on my rack.

there are members who made some wooden enclosures for them.
If you have a regular or half-cut kick drum, they could be mounted inside. Or even inside a tom if you have DIY shells.
I, myself, am in the process of re-doing my kit, as I am also renovating the music room.
I think I will do away with the drum rack, and go for tom stands instead.
And I'll have to come up with something for the ED modules.
Time to let imagination run free!

This is what I'm going with for now. I used the two velcro straps that came with my devices to secure them to an old module mounting bracket. Plenty sturdy, accessible, and clean looking.
I also learned that module mounting brackets come in standard sizes (such as the
Roland MDP-7). Maybe the next generation ED10 could include some screwholes in the bottom for mounting?

I went to my local craft store and bought some wood and built up a box.

How do you prevent the devices from bouncing around in the enclosure? And how did you mount the enclosure?

Double sided tape... it’s low engineering but it works. Velcro would work too.
In the picture you can see a chrome module mount which is screwed to the top of the box. The module mount is then mounted to the rack in the usual ways.
The box is open in the back too. It is nothing fancy... just a 2x3 grid.
Better view of mounting to the rack.

Apologize, the photo is terrible, I can do better photos if needed.
What you're looking at is a Pyle laptop stand. On it's surface I screwed in a threaded mic mount - you can see the three unpainted bolts used to mount it. The bottom half of a Gator Frameworks Microphone Clip Quick Connect is screwed into that mic mount. The top half of the Gator Quick Connect is attached to an On-stage MSA500 laptop mount made for screwing onto to a mic stand. The eDRUMin 10 is underneath on the lower platform.
The upperside of the MSA500 holds the laptop - everything else is mounted to the underside of the MSA500 - a Behringer UMC202HD, laptop power adapter, D-Link 4 port powered USB hub and a power strip.
The reason it's like this is because the upper platform has an identical twin I bring along to keyboard gigs. When I first started using only a controller and VST's I wanted to be able to just pull the quick release and mount the backup one if something failed. I use Dropbox to sync several folders that contain files that change over time.
It's all been so rock solid I usually don't bring the backup unit so it's now married to the drum setup
