Hi there,

how would I have to go on about if I were to split my signals to cover multiple pads with just 1 input (e.g. tom and kick)?
I'm still confused about what cables I need, like if I need additional sockets or splitters, or if something like this would already do the job:

yep, that would work.

The split is the easiest,

It's the stereo plug that goes into the eDRUMin input, that splits to two mono cables. Both share the ground (sleeve), one tip goes to the ring of the stereo, the other tip goes to the tip of the stereo plug.

I use 2 of exactly these cables to connect 3 toms and the kick to 2 Inputs. Works.

It’s a Stereo 1/4" male to 2 mono 1/4" females. I use it so my bass and single China share one eDRUMin input.

Would you suggest that these work better than 1 cable which splits at the end? The reason I'm asking is because with two cables and a male/female cable at the end you might be able to cover a greater distance between the pads to eliminate crosstalk. But that is just an assumption.

Crosstalk won't be an issue. The eDRUMin will apply crosstalk cancelation between the split input.

I wouldn’t say it worked better, but that it worked better for me and my situation. I already had two 12 feet cables, one from my bass and one from the China, coming to the eDRUMin. I just needed a short cable to bring them together as one input.

As long as the inputs of your splitter choice satisfies what eDRUMin needs then the choice of the splitter comes down to how you prefer your cable runs.

The one Mylo showed in the photo looks like the ones I'm using from Hosa - Part number YPP-117. They work great

I use 2 hosa splitters to split 2 toms rims for a splash and china, it works great, don’t forget to set the input mode to dual mono.
Just a request, my splash and china are a couple of zildjian LV with a trigger by Dave from Diamond Drums, they work great, would it be possible to add mono cymbals in the pad type section? Right now one has to use the dual zone cymbal, or would that change how the cymbal reacts?
My cymbals are single zone with no choke and I just whack them, no need to calibrate anyway I think, just increased the gain.
