Edrumin10 compatibility with Apple Mac Mini M4

I just purchased the Mac Mini M4 running Seqoaia OS 15 on the Apple Silicon chip. I am planning to run EZdrummer 3.

My Roland TD 11 module is not compatible with Appleā€™s Silicon chip or OS15 Seqoaia. Neither is my Yamaha DTX 502 module.

Thus I have no choice but to consider the Edrumin option but would like to confirm that it is indeed compatible.

My kit configuration:
Acoustic-Electric conversion drum kit
Jobeky 3 and 4 point internal triggers
Lemon cymbals and Lemon two-piece hihat (VH13 equivalent)
Yamaha DTX PCY cymbals
Roland KDA22 kick
Roland TD11 module
Yamaha DTX 502 module

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it is compatible and will continue to be compatible with future apple hardware and operating systems because it is class compliant and doesn't require a special driver.

Thank you for your reply.

So should I just do away with the Roland and Yamaha modules and just run my Jobeky triggers directly into Edrumin and my Mac with EZdrummer3?

Or do I still need to connect using my TD 11 and DTX modules?

Yes you can use all your pads connected to the ED10 to EZDrummer for sounds.

May I ask, how is it that the TD11 or the Yamaha 502 are not compatible with M4 chips?
I see Roland has a driver for OS 15. Could be a sandboxing issue. Make sure you allow and give permission to the Roland driver.

My understanding is the modules are using CoreAudio and the same MIDI end, and that hasn't changed with the newer Macs... but I may be out of the loop as I am still on a M1.

According to this page on the Roland website, the TD11 and TD25 are not compatible with the Mac OS Sequoia. The rest of the TD modules are compatible.

Scroll down the list to the TD modules.

Well, I wonder why because the tech inside has not evolved that much.

So, indeed, for EZDrummer VST, using the ED10 is your way to trigger those pads.
You can surely connect the USB of the ED10 to the Roland module if you ever want to trigger the module sounds.
