cymbal choking stopped working

I think the problem appeared with version 2.3.1.32 with my edrumin8:
In some rare (and difficult to reproduce) situations the cymbal (configured as a Roland 3 zones) seem to be always choked, then choking does not work anymore.
The only fix I found in this situation was to the the module off and on again, IT crowd style.

Sorry, I completely forgot to follow this thread.
In fact I forgot about the problem until it hit me again yesterday.

The cymbal is an ATV 14".

I will check if the problem does manifest itself with the last build, but as it is difficult to reproduce and quite elusive it might take some time to confirm.

I had exactly the same problem with choking on ATV cymbals. The problem seems to be a common production flaw.
You have the first ‘edition’. I’ve got them replaced under warranty and working fine.

Your problem will return, for sure. It’s the internal connection.

Thanks for the heads up!
I purchased it 8 months ago at drum-tec.
Do you know if there is a serial number or something else I can check to know if mine is an early series?

Not sure this is the same problem though, as restarting the edrumin was the fix every time.
