Drum module + eDrumIn to add pads
Re: Drum module + eDrumIn to add pads
Moved. I'm pretty sure Yamaha modules are pretty flexible when triggering via MIDI.

By the way. Are you sure you want to use your email address as your publicly visible user name?

Don't go with Roland.
They do not allow adding extra sounds then the ones already playing on the kit.
They only duplicate sounds you already assigned to the existing pads.
So, you would need to add a cowbell to the rim of your tom1, to be able to add another pad and trigger the cowbell sound.
My older DTX700 had MIDI in, and could trigger all internal sounds from the module. So, claps, cowbells, splashes, etc... were all available.
I hope they kept that function with the newer modules.
