Alesis 3-zone Strike Pro Special Edition (SE) 16” ride cymbal

Hi all,
I recently started exploring the edrumin 10 and encountered an issue with the Alesis-Ride, as mentioned in the subject. My specific problem is that I can't get the three zones of the ride cymbal to work properly, even with two cables. Has anyone here had experience with this particular cymbal? It works quite well on my TD-30. I would be very grateful for any help or advice!
Greetings from Germany and thanks in advance!
JT

I made some.changes in version 2.3.1 that 'might' have affected the Roland 3-zone pad type. You'll have to wait until I get back from my vacation to do some additional testing. I'll get back to you. In the meantime, can you give me some more details about the issues you are having when using 2 cables?

Hi Rob,
Thanks for responding so quickly! I've reset the edrumin to factory settings again and connected only the Alesis without making any other settings.
First, with just one plug as a Dual-Zone Cymbal with Bell Sense "on". The following was triggered:
Dual-Zone
Hit -> TRIGGER
Bow -> BELL
Edge -> BOW
Bell -> EDGE
After that, I tried the 2-plug variant, with the following result:
3-Zone
Hit -> TRIGGER
Bow -> BOW
Edge -> BELL
Bell -> EDGE
Overall, I had to hit very hard to generate a trigger at all.
I hope this helps, but please let me know if you need more/other information.
Thanks in advance!
JT

What does HIT -> TRIGGER mean? Also, please note that bell sense is not supported by that pad, so please do not use it. Using the dual zone cymbal pad type, you should only expect to get BOW and EDGE.
As for your BELL / EDGE issue when using two cables, sounds like you have the two cables swapped.
Lastly, if you have to hit hard to register a hit, you probably need to lower your threshold. Can you post a screenshot of your settings?

It turns out that the error was indeed with the Alesis ride. I connected it to the Roland module again, with the same result (I had to hit very hard to generate a trigger at all.) ... I have another one of these rides and as soon as I have the chance, I will test this on the edrumin and let you know the results (just for the record). Thanks again for your quick response and sorry for the wasted time.
