The setup in eDRUMin is pretty simple, but you need to have a cymbal that's capable of positional sensing. The most reliable cymbals for positional sensing are larger Roland cymbals. The section in the manual is pretty clear. The trickier part is getting things setup in your drum sampler. What cymbals do you have and what application are you trigger in?

hi Rob, thanks for ur attention.
right now i just got my 18" lemon ride and PCY155 triggering Superior drummer 3.
For Lemon.. should i connecting both of its connector to get positional sensing properly? or only one just like PCY155 had?
And Does PCY155 also support positional sensing as its already 3 zone cymbal?
Thanks for ur enlighment

There is what I would call experimental support for those cymbals. In the case of the lemon, the bell input in not needed Positional sensing will transmit CC value along with your BOW hits. You can use that CC value to trigger different bow sounds in your drum application.

i did read the manual, thats why i knew 18"lemon ride cymbal is supported... i was hoping it will b more clearer just like positional sensing on snare that trigger separate edge note (in SD3.. snare was divide into 3 articulations: edge, off center and center tho)... but in cymbal.. i just can only guessing...looking on indicator should be triggering what articulation? in SD3 there are many articulation ini cymbal such as bell tip, bell shank, bow1, bow2... etc.... thanks again btw

Most SD3 cymbals do not support positional sensing out of the box, but you can use the CC17 to switch between bow1 and bow2 for example.

thanks for advising Rob.
Till now.. i only can divide BOW area of pcy155 into two separated midi note, which i assign to bow tip and bow shank...
tho at first i was confused about guessing bout the movement of the red line on the PS indicator bar was... after a while I realized that it was moving further to the right, meaning it was getting closer to the bell area.... but still cant get same approach on BELL area... hmmm.. what do i miss???

There's only positional sensing in the bow.

update: what can i say... its not stable yet... yesterday success doesn't look like it will happen tonight.. LoL
Strange things:
1.in EDC i picked Crash2 but SD3 played as Crash 1 (set e-drum preset on SD3 as default. with use preset enabled and SD Map on EDC)
2..Hav to tweak Midi in/eDrum in SD3 to register two articulations on BOW... but CC Zone setup keep showin CC in as 0 instead of 17 with learn function enable
.... Oh Dear... i should do save as new preset yesterday.... tho i keep auto save enable all the time
