eDRUMin version 2.1.1 is available for testing. You can downgrade from version 2.1.1 to version 2.1.0.x without having your device reset. This version fixes a few small bugs and aims to improve support for metal cymbals.

Experienced a crash when attempting to switch my cymbal from 3-zone to 2-zone (which worked fine otherwise.)
Crash report attached.

Hi Monospace,

Couldn't reproduce. I don't see why it crashed, but I did some extra sanitation there jic.

Changes in build 3
  • Updated manual.
  • Fixed some UI manual links pointing to the wrong pages in the manual.
  • Prevent setting an input to an input type that uses a helper input if its adjacent input uses a helper input.
  • Prevent sending presets to helper inputs.

That version's no good, it crashes immediately on open.

I found a small bug. Factory resetting the entire device doesn't fully release helper inputs. I've fixed it for the next build. As a workaround, you can save after you reset and then power cycle the unit.

That version works, thanks. I'm able to switch between 2 and 3 zone cymbals with no problems (was just curious, although I'll keep my Lemon on the 3-zone because it just works better that way.)

Another thing I noticed: clicking on the PDF button ("Open Manual") does nothing?

Finally, in the category "not a bug at all just noticing", the Dock icon on MacOS is bigger than other dock icons.

Found a small glitch in 2.1.13. Each time edrumin is opened, articulation notes are displayed as music notes, not midi notes, despite having specified them as midi notes in the "advanced mode" menu. That choice doesn't appear to be saved.

I can't reproduce that issue here. Are you on Windows or Mac?
